Creates the Rural Education Task Force within the Department of Education to advise the Superintendent on needs and challenges of very rural schools.

Task force membership must include representatives from local educational agencies (as majority), administrators, principals, parents, school board members, county board members, support personnel, charter school authorities, and charter school leaders.

Requires all task force members to be selected to ensure representation of very rural areas throughout the state.

Task force will provide assistance and advice on very rural school issues including transportation costs, facilities, special education, and qualified staffing for kindergarten through grade 12 schools.
