Changes Chapter 22.2 heading from "Student Online Personal Information Protection Act" to "K–12 Pupil Online Personal Information Protection Act" and replaces terminology of "student" with "pupil" throughout the law.

Exempts pupil records held by national assessment providers that only include standardized test results from the requirement to delete pupil records when schools request deletion.

Requires operators to delete pupil's information not subject to the California Consumer Privacy Act if the pupil's parent, guardian, education rights holder, or the pupil (if 18+) requests deletion and the pupil has been unenrolled for at least 60 days, with documentation required.

Clarifies that provisions do not limit or supersede rights and requirements under the federal Individuals with Disabilities Education Act, the Rehabilitation Act of 1973, or related regulations.
