Prohibits retail establishments from selling dietary supplements for weight loss or over-the-counter diet pills to anyone under 18 years of age without a prescription, effective January 1, 2026.

Requires retail establishments to request valid identification from any person who appears to be under 18 years of age when attempting to purchase these products.

Directs the State Department of Public Health to consult with the FDA and stakeholders to determine which dietary supplements for weight loss and OTC diet pills are subject to these restrictions.

Establishes civil penalties of up to $250 per violation for violations of this section, with exemptions for retail clerks unless they are willful participants in a conspiracy to violate the law.

Exempts violations from existing criminal penalties under Section 111825 of the Health and Safety Code.
