Courts must report monthly to the Judicial Council data on unlawful detainer cases filed on or after January 1, 2025, aggregated by ZIP Code.

Required unlawful detainer case data includes: cases filed, defendant representation by counsel, fee waivers granted, default/stipulated judgments, trials (bench vs. jury), dismissals, and judgments for plaintiff or defendant.

Courts must also report monthly to the Judicial Council case summary data on COVID-19 Rental Debt in Small Claims Court cases aggregated by ZIP Code, including cases filed and fee waivers granted.

The Judicial Council must post all unlawful detainer case data publicly in a downloadable electronic spreadsheet on its website every four months.

Reporting requirements become operative January 1, 2025.
