Amends Education Code Sections 49431 and 49431.2 to clarify that schools may sell additional meal entrées to students after they receive a free school meal under Section 49501.5.

Allows schools to sell the entrée from an additional nutritiously adequate meal that qualifies for federal reimbursement from the same meal service without violating competitive food restrictions.

Clarifies that this additional entrée sale applies to both elementary schools and middle/high schools during the regulated food sale hours (midnight before to 30 minutes after end of schoolday).

Does not change existing dietary guidelines or nutritional standards for competitive foods sold to students.
