Designates the North Arm Newport Bay Bridge on State Route 1 in Orange County as the Marian Bergeson Memorial Bridge (bridge number 55-0614 at postmile R18.218).

Requests the Department of Transportation to determine the cost of appropriate signs for the special designation and erect them upon receiving donations from nonstate sources to cover that cost.

Honors Marian C. Bergeson (1925-2016), the first woman to serve in both the California Assembly and Senate, who also served on the Newport-Mesa Board of Education, Orange County Board of Supervisors, State Board of Education, and California Transportation Commission.

Recognizes Bergeson's contributions to education, public service, and her numerous accolades including the UCI Medal, National Conference for Community Justice Humanitarian of the Year, and the Orange County Bar Association's Liberty Bell Award.
