Urges the Office of Management and Budget (OMB) to include Middle Eastern or North African (MENA) as a response option across all federal information collection activities, including the decennial census.

Notes that federal data collection standards have not been updated since 1997 and currently aggregate MENA populations under the "White" racial category, obscuring their distinct needs and experiences.

States that separate MENA data collection is necessary to ensure equal access to federal protections under the Voting Rights Act, Small Business Act, and Public Health Service Act.

Encourages California residents to submit public comments supporting the proposed revision to the OMB's Statistical Policy Directive Number 15 (SPD 15).

Directs the Chief Clerk of the Assembly to transmit the resolution to federal officials including the President, Vice President, Congress members, and the OMB.
