Requires public and private schools serving grades 7-12 that issue pupil identification cards to print the 988 Suicide and Crisis Lifeline number instead of the previous 1-800-273-8255 National Suicide Prevention Lifeline number, effective July 1, 2025.

Permits schools to additionally print a quick response (QR) code on identification cards that links to the county's mental health resources website, effective July 1, 2025.

Maintains the existing requirement for schools to print the National Domestic Violence Hotline number (1-800-799-7233) on identification cards.

Allows schools with existing supplies of noncompliant identification cards as of July 1, 2025, to issue those cards until the supply is depleted rather than requiring immediate reprinting.

Continues to apply these requirements only to new identification cards issued for the first time or to replace damaged or lost cards.
