Requires the Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation to report quarterly to all bargaining units on total assaults against employees, within 30 days of each quarter's end.

Mandates annual reports to the Legislature and budget committee chairs beginning January 1, 2025, detailing total assaults against employees from the preceding calendar year.

Defines "assault" as physically aggressive acts against staff including hitting, pushing, kicking, or other acts that could cause potential or actual injury.

Reports must include the assault date, employee's bargaining unit designation, job classification of affected represented employees, and facility name while protecting confidentiality of patients, inmates, and employees.

Applies to all correctional facilities under the department's jurisdiction, excluding adult and juvenile fire camps.
