Requires sellers of real property who received domestic water storage tank assistance under Water Code Section 13194, or are aware such assistance was received, to disclose this to prospective buyers on or after January 1, 2025

Disclosure statement must inform buyers that the property has a domestic water storage tank provided by a county, community water system, local public agency, or nonprofit organization

Must specify that the domestic water storage tank was provided to households with private wells that went dry or were destroyed due to drought, wildfire, natural disasters, or other nonfunctioning conditions

Must warn buyers that the domestic water storage tank might not convey with the real property upon sale

Must advise buyers to have the water well inspected and professionally evaluated to ensure adequate water availability for their intended use of the property
