Approves the memorandum of understanding between the state employer and State Bargaining Unit 6 dated August 19, 2023, effective July 3, 2023, to July 2, 2025.

Provisions requiring expenditure of funds will not take effect unless specifically appropriated by the Legislature; either party may reopen negotiations if funds are not appropriated.

Appropriates $296,891,000 for the 2023-24 fiscal year for State Bargaining Unit 6 employee compensation in augmentation of the Budget Act of 2023.

Updates continuous appropriation provisions for 2023-24, 2024-25, and 2025-26 fiscal years to include the new State Bargaining Unit 6 agreement terms and expiration dates.

Allows agreement provisions to take effect if approved by the Legislature in any legislation, not just the annual Budget Act.
