Require each qualified political party to notify the Secretary of State by the 75th day before a presidential general election of their nominees for President and Vice President, or their apparent nominees if the national convention has not yet been held.

Exempt presidential and vice presidential candidates from the existing prohibition on using a new name on the ballot if the name change occurred within one year of the election.

Allow presidential and vice presidential candidates to use a legally changed name on the ballot regardless of when the name change occurred, without needing to prove the change was made by marriage or court decree.
