Beginning July 1, 2024, makes it unlawful to advertise or display a price for goods or services that does not include all mandatory fees or charges, except taxes, government fees, or shipping costs.

Provides exemptions for vehicle rental companies, vehicle lessors, motor vehicle dealers, and manufacturers advertising manufacturer's suggested retail prices (MSRP) to exclude certain disclosed charges from advertised prices.

Clarifies that assessments under the California Tourism Marketing Act, Parking and Business Improvement Area Law, and Property and Business Improvement District Law are government-imposed fees exempt from the drip pricing prohibition.

Does not apply to air transportation, ongoing auction bids, or food delivery platforms listing restaurant menu prices set by food facilities.

Specifies that financial entities complying with federal truth-in-lending and savings disclosure requirements are exempt from these advertising requirements for those transactions.
