Authorizes single requests for peace officer assistance with trespass to be submitted electronically in notarized form provided by the law enforcement agency.

Extends the maximum period for trespass assistance requests from 30 days to 12 months (or shorter period set by local ordinance) when there is a fire hazard or the owner is absent from the property.

Permits local governments to accept electronic submissions of trespass assistance requests.

Requires requestors to inform the law enforcement agency in writing when assistance is no longer desired before the applicable period expires.

Requests for assistance expire upon transfer of property ownership or change in lawful possession.
