CA SB630

Requires contractors applying for licensure or registration to provide their valid email address to the Contractors State License Board at time of application, and existing licensees to provide email addresses at time of renewal.

Protects contractor email addresses from public disclosure under the California Public Records Act and other disclosure requirements, except by court order.

Establishes that emails sent from the board to provided contractor email addresses are presumed to have been delivered.

Authorizes the board to issue disciplinary decisions that stay execution pending completion of probation terms and conditions, with automatic termination of the stay if probation terms are not fully met.

Makes legislative findings to justify the limitation on public access to contractor email addresses under California Constitution Article I, Section 3.
