CA SB631

Requires the Administrative Director of the Division of Workers' Compensation, in collaboration with UC Berkeley, to prepare a comparative analysis examining differences in workers' compensation benefits provided to employees of different genders.

Analysis must compare benefits across genders in different industries, including monetized compensation value, claim denial rates, and differences in compensation benefits excluding medical treatment.

Administrative director must submit a report on the comparative analysis to the Legislature within 6 months of completion, in compliance with Government Code Section 9795.

Section becomes operative only upon appropriation by the Legislature for this purpose.
