Requires persons and online platforms advertising hotel or short-term rental rates in California (or from California to other states) to include all mandatory fees in the advertised price, effective July 1, 2024.

Mandates that advertised total price include all taxes and fees imposed by government on the stay and clearly disclose these amounts as a line item before consumer reserves.

Defines "mandatory fees" as any charges required to stay in a hotel or short-term rental, excluding optional services/amenities and government-imposed taxes and fees.

Authorizes enforcement actions by the Attorney General, district attorneys, city attorneys in cities over 750,000 population, county counsel, and city prosecutors, with civil penalties up to $10,000 per violation.

Penalties are cumulative with other civil, criminal, and administrative penalties and do not replace other legal remedies.
