CA SB710

Establishes a Terminus Regional Planning Task Force administered by the Department of Transportation to address traffic and land use issues related to State Route 710 Terminus in Alhambra and adjacent areas.

Task force composed of representatives from City of Alhambra (2), City of Los Angeles (2), County of Los Angeles (1), California State University Los Angeles (1), LA County Metropolitan Transportation Authority (1), a business/workforce entity (1), and a community-based organization (1), plus up to 2 additional members appointed by the department.

Task force shall meet quarterly to discuss traffic, affordable housing, student housing, workforce development, public university expansion, parks, and alternative transportation in the SR 710 Terminus adjacent areas.

Requires task force to submit a report to the Legislature by December 1, 2025, including project summaries and status of the Alhambra 710 Arterial Project, and does not authorize the task force to impede local jurisdiction projects.

Section automatically repeals on January 1, 2027.
