Amends Section 1803.1 of the Civil Code to increase the minimum font size requirement for printed retail installment contracts from 8-point to 12-point type, effective July 1, 2024.

Maintains existing requirement that retail installment contracts must be dated and in writing.

Violations of the font size requirement remain a crime under the Unruh Act.

Provides that no state reimbursement to local agencies or school districts is required, as cost increases result from changes to crime penalties under Section 17556 of the Government Code.
