Prohibits school districts from requiring updated proof of residency for pupils who have been evicted or are victims of violent crime or natural disaster if the parent or guardian previously established residency.

Prohibits school districts from seeking or imposing monetary, civil, or criminal penalties on pupils who have been evicted or are victims of violent crime or natural disaster, or their parents or guardians, for failing to update proof of residency.

Requires local educational agencies to allow pupils in kindergarten through grade 8 who have been evicted or are victims of violent crime or natural disaster to continue attending their school of origin through the end of the academic school year.

Requires local educational agencies to allow high school pupils who have been evicted or are victims of violent crime or natural disaster to continue attending their school of origin through graduation.

Defines "victim of violent crime or natural disaster" as a pupil or pupil's parents or guardians displaced as a result of violent crime, including domestic violence, or natural disasters, verified through police reports or verifiable records.
