Expands the statewide crime victims resource center to provide information through both a toll-free telephone number and an internet website, in addition to existing services.

Requires the internet website to include a plain language summary of crime victims' rights and resources, including information about victim compensation, legal protections, and the California criminal justice process.

Mandates the website include links to victim resources offered by the state and each county, as well as relevant public and private entity resources.

Extends the resource center's services to families of crime victims, in addition to crime victims and service providers.

Effective upon approval by the Governor on July 21, 2023.
