Requires the California Department of Education to publish an annual "California raw class size data report" on its website with publicly available enrollment information.

Report must include average class size data for self-contained and departmentalized classes at each schoolsite, broken down by elementary (transitional kindergarten through all grades), middle school, and high school grades.

Defines "average class size" as total course enrollment divided by the number of classes.

Applies to all local educational agencies including school districts, county offices of education, and charter schools.

Approved by Governor October 8, 2023 and filed with Secretary of State the same date.
