Requires any person or entity providing over $5,000 in compensation or items of value to a student athlete to disclose the amount and athletic team to the institution, without including the student's name or personally identifying information.

Mandates postsecondary institutions publicly disclose total compensation and value of items provided to all student athletes each academic year, disaggregated by sport and team gender.

Requires institutions to publicly disclose the total value of material support or services provided to student athletes in connection with name, image, and likeness (NIL) compensation, disaggregated by sport and team gender.

Requires institutions that share revenues with student athletes to publicly disclose the total value of revenues shared annually, disaggregated by sport and team gender.

Applies to all California postsecondary institutions including University of California, California State University, California Community Colleges, and independent and private higher education institutions.
