Reduces service obligation from 3 years to 2 years in a medically underserved area for program participants.

Removes the $105,000 maximum limit on loan repayments for physicians who have completed 3 consecutive years of service in a medically underserved area.

Eliminates requirement for the department to establish an advisory committee for program management.

Updates "practice setting" definition to mean any facility or setting delivering direct patient care, as defined by the department.

Authorizes the department to create additional positions for non-primary specialty applicants using separate funding sources, not subject to the existing 20% limit from the Medically Underserved Account for Physicians.
