Designates Monday, May 6, 2024, as California Peace Officers' Memorial Day to commemorate peace officers who have died in the line of duty.

Recognizes four California peace officers killed in 2023: Deputy Darnell Andrew Calhoun (Riverside County Sheriff's Office, January 13), Officer Gonzalo Carrasco, Jr. (Selma Police Department, January 31), Deputy Ryan M. Clinkunbroomer (Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department, September 16), and Officer Tuan Q. Le (Oakland Police Department, December 29).

Honors three Los Angeles Police Department officers killed in 2021: Officer Philip T. Sudario (January 25), Sergeant Patricia Elena Guillen (January 28), and Sergeant Anthony White (April 15).

Recognizes Detective Donald A. Mason of San Bernardino County Sheriff's Department, who was killed on December 23, 1959.

Urges all Californians to remember and appreciate peace officers who have sacrificed their lives for public safety.
