Recognizes the historical significance of this route as a native trail used by the Tachi Yokut people for seasonal travel to Tulare Lake and as part of an extensive pre-colonial trade route system

Requests the Department of Transportation to determine the cost of appropriate signs displaying this special designation and erect them upon receiving donations from nonstate sources to cover the costs

Acknowledges that modern State Route 41 follows paths originally established by Native American peoples traveling from the Sierra Nevada Mountains to the Central Valley
