Designates October of each year as Italian American Heritage Month in California, beginning in October 2024.

Encourages public schools to highlight Italian American achievements and contributions to California culture in elementary and secondary social science textbooks during revision processes.

Encourages public schools to include Italian Americans in ethnic studies courses.

Recognizes Italian Americans as the fifth largest ethnic group in America with approximately 26 million members, including 1.5 million in California, and documents their historical contributions to banking, agriculture, wine, food processing, and entertainment industries.

Directs the Secretary of the Senate to distribute copies of this resolution to the State Board of Education, the Instructional Quality Commission, and school districts.
