Recognizes the week of September 17-23, 2024, as Constitution Week to commemorate the United States Constitution.

Marks the 237th anniversary of the framing of the Constitution at the Constitutional Convention on September 17, 2024.

Urges all Californians to reflect on the importance of the Constitution and its principles of separation of powers, checks and balances, and protection of individual liberties.

Acknowledges the framers' deliberations over 100 days and their compromises despite geographic, economic, and cultural differences in establishing the nation.

References Congress designations of September 17 as "Constitution Day and Citizenship Day" (1952) and the surrounding week as "Constitution Week" (1956).
