Authorizes the Department of Alcoholic Beverage Control to issue up to 10 additional new original on-sale general licenses for bona fide public eating places in San Luis Obispo County, with a maximum of 5 licenses issued per year

Holders of valid on-sale general licenses for seasonal business may apply for these new licenses

Licenses issued under this provision cannot be transferred out of San Luis Obispo County or to premises that don't qualify as bona fide public eating places

Licenses cannot be sold or transferred for more than the original fee paid by the seller or transferor

Legislature justified this special statute based on exponential tourism growth in San Luis Obispo County driving increased demand for alcohol licenses
