Minimum experience requirement for the preliminary administrative services credential increased from 3 years to 5 years of full-time work in teaching or school-related services

School-based occupational therapist or physical therapist experience now qualifies toward the 5-year experience requirement

School districts, county offices of education, or charter schools may request a waiver of up to 2 years of the experience requirement for candidates who complete an approved administrative services program, hold an appropriate credential or license, and have been offered an administrative position
