Extends the workers' compensation presumption for heart trouble to peace officers employed by the State Department of State Hospitals, in addition to existing coverage for Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation employees with custodial duties

Heart trouble that develops or manifests during employment is presumed to arise out of and in the course of employment under this disputable presumption

Compensation for qualifying heart trouble includes full hospital, surgical, and medical treatment, disability indemnity, and death benefits

The presumption extends beyond termination of service for 3 calendar months per full year of service, up to a maximum of 60 months
