Requires the California Department of Transportation to release and remove a deed restriction on a parcel transferred to the City of Lynwood in 2016, located at the corner of Imperial Highway and Fernwood Avenue (Assessor's Parcel Number 6169-001-900)

The deed restriction currently requires a portion of the property, known as the Alameda triangle property, to be used exclusively for public purposes for 15 years from the recorded date of the deed

Removal of the restriction would allow the City of Lynwood to use the property for purposes other than exclusively public uses before the 15-year period expires

The Legislature declares this special statute is necessary due to the unique nature of the Imperial Highway property and cannot be addressed through general legislation
