Exempts acute psychiatric hospitals operated by the State Department of State Hospitals from these requirements

Identification tags must display the employee's vocational classification or California license status in 18-point type or larger

Allows flexibility in name display options: full first and last name, first name with last initial, first initial with last name, or first or last name only

Aligns hospital licensing regulations with existing health care practitioner licensing statutes to protect employee identity and safety while maintaining professional identification standards
