Large jurisdictions must report the number of housing units approved using preapproved plans in annual reports starting April 1, 2027; small jurisdictions begin reporting April 1, 2029

The preapproval program does not apply to master-planned communities, planned unit developments, or similar large-scale developments involving subdivision of land for multiple new housing units
