Requires county elections officials to post updated election results on their website at least twice per week (increased from once per week) beginning no later than the Thursday following an election

Updates must continue until either the certified statement of results is published or the only remaining ballots are vote by mail ballots awaiting voter signature verification

Mandates that updates include: current results for all candidates and measures, number of processed and estimated unprocessed ballots by category (polling place, vote by mail, provisional, conditional registration), and expected date/time of next update

Removes previously proposed provisions that would have required 25% of ballots counted by day 7, 67% by day 14, and all ballots counted within 21 days of the election

Provides for state reimbursement to local agencies if the Commission on State Mandates determines the bill imposes state-mandated costs
