Licensed winegrowers may now possess and transport brandy to store and age on their premises, and craft distillers may transport brandy to and from winegrower premises for aging purposes

Craft distillers can sell up to 4.5 liters of prepackaged spirits per day per consumer at their premises, increased from the previous 2.25 liter limit

Out-of-state distillers meeting California craft distiller requirements may now directly ship distilled spirits to California consumers, subject to a 2.25 liter per day limit and a required distilled spirits direct shipper permit

Direct shippers must obtain signatures from individuals 21 or older upon delivery, maintain shipment records, and label containers with alcohol content warnings

The direct shipping provisions are extended until January 1, 2027, and selling/shipping spirits without a permit is classified as a misdemeanor
