Amends Family Code Section 2040 to expand automatic temporary restraining orders issued in divorce, legal separation, nullity, and parentage proceedings

Adds two new prohibited actions regarding insurance coverage: allowing a policy to lapse for nonpayment of premiums and failing to renew insurance held for the benefit of parties and their children

Applies to life, health, automobile, and disability insurance coverage where support may be ordered for children

Effective date: January 1, 2027
