Increases Medi-Cal reimbursement rates for advanced practice pharmacist services from 85% to 100% of the physician fee schedule, including medication therapy management (MTM) services

Requires health care service plans and disability insurers to pay or reimburse costs for services performed by advanced practice pharmacists enrolled as providers with the plan or insurer

Limits MTM reimbursement to eligible advanced practice pharmacists or pharmacies providing services in conjunction with specialty drug therapy categories identified by the Department of Health Care Services

Directs the department to seek federal approval of a state plan amendment to recognize pharmacists as health care providers at federally qualified health centers for Medi-Cal reimbursement purposes

Maintains the 85% reimbursement rate for regular (non-advanced practice) pharmacist services while creating the higher reimbursement tier for advanced practice pharmacists
