Requires health facilities, clinics, home health agencies, and hospices to annually report to the Department of Health Care Access and Information whether their health care employees are eligible for employer-sponsored health coverage immediately upon hire or must wait

If waiting periods exist, facilities must report the length of the waiting period, either as a single period for all employees or broken down by 12 employee classifications (physicians, registered nurses, licensed vocational nurses, aides, medical assistants, home health aides, technicians, administrative staff, environmental/food staff, management, and others)

Waiting periods must be reported in standardized date ranges: 0 days, 1-14 days, 15-30 days, 31-60 days, 61-90 days, or more than 90 days

Reporting requirements take effect January 1, 2027, and the department must integrate this obligation with existing reports to minimize administrative burden

The Department of Health Care Access and Information must post the collected waiting period information on its website at least annually
