Allows senior nutrition projects to provide meals either in-person or as to-go pickup for consumption in virtual congregate settings, expanding flexibility beyond traditional in-person only requirements

Removes the previous requirement that additional meals provided by contracting agencies must ensure recommended dietary allowances

Permits meals consumed outside in-person or virtual congregate settings to be provided under the federal Home Delivered Nutrition Services program, subject to federal requirements

Applies to nutrition projects serving individuals 60 years of age or older under California's state plan implementing the federal Older Americans Act
