Ratifies the fourth amendment to the tribal-state gaming compact between California and the Picayune Rancheria of Chukchansi Indians of California, executed on June 4, 2025

Exempts from California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) requirements the execution of the compact, amended compact, and related intergovernmental agreements between the tribe and local/state governments

On-reservation impacts of compliance with the compact terms are not considered "projects" under CEQA

Local governments and state agencies remain subject to CEQA for matters not expressly exempted by this bill

Enacted as an urgency statute requiring a 2/3 vote, taking effect immediately upon approval to support the tribe's economic development and self-sufficiency
