Replaces the current written notice about childcare availability with a standardized CalWORKs childcare request form (CCP 7) that must be provided at application, upon benefits approval, with annual eligibility certificates, semiannual reports, and welfare-to-work plans

Requires counties to approve or deny childcare request forms within 10 working days of receipt

Maintains existing requirements that the form inform recipients about paid childcare availability, local childcare resource and referral programs, assistance finding providers, and the 30-day deadline to request subsidies for full reimbursement

Mandates the State Department of Social Services implement these changes through an all-county letter by June 1, 2027, until formal regulations are adopted

Requires state reimbursement to local agencies if the Commission on State Mandates determines the bill imposes state-mandated costs on counties
