Authorizes the City of Indio to enter agreements with employees hired on or after January 1, 2025 to provide employer contributions for postretirement health care coverage through collectively bargained memoranda of understanding

Requires employees to have at least 5 years of credited service with the City of Indio to receive employer contributions; agreements providing benefits to employees with less service are invalid

Employer contributions must meet the minimum level required under existing Public Employees' Medical and Hospital Care Act (PEMHCA) provisions

Applies only prospectively to employees who retire after a memorandum of understanding becomes effective; does not affect employees who retired before the agreement was signed

Requires the City of Indio to notify the Public Employees' Retirement System board of any agreement and provide information necessary to implement the benefits
