Authorizes the Board of Governors of California Community Colleges to allow Cerritos Community College District to offer up to 3 applied baccalaureate degree programs in public safety management, paralegal studies, and automotive technology

Programs must address documented regional workforce demand in southeast Los Angeles County, where no California State University or University of California campus exists within district boundaries

Each program must be built on existing associate degree pathways, maintain employer advisory committees with industry and labor representatives, and incorporate work-based learning or experiential learning

Programs must be self-supporting through existing apportionment, fees, and other available funding sources with no new state appropriation

Chancellor of California Community Colleges will monitor programs and may report outcomes to the Legislature including enrollment, completion rates, employment placement, and wage outcomes
