Requires all California public schools serving grades 7-12 to display sextortion informational posters in at least one men's and one women's restroom by the start of the 2027-28 school year

Posters must be at least 12x18 inches, printed in both English and Spanish, and include an age-appropriate description of sextortion, defined as threatening to use sexual images to compel someone to produce more images, engage in sexual acts, or provide anything of value

Required poster content includes contact information for local, state, and federal law enforcement, a national suicide prevention hotline, and resources from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children

Applies to all school districts, county offices of education, and charter schools maintaining any combination of grades 7 through 12

State reimbursement to schools for mandated costs would be provided if the Commission on State Mandates determines the bill creates state-mandated expenses
