Notice must explain benefits including weighted GPA credit, college credit, and potential time and money savings toward postsecondary degrees, written in accessible language for first-generation college families

Each student must receive at least one direct communication about advanced programs through counseling sessions, academic planning meetings, or homeroom presentations

Schools must hold at least one annual informational session for parents about advanced academic programs and enrollment processes

Superintendent of Public Instruction must issue implementation guidelines, including sample notice templates and best practices for encouraging participation by underrepresented students
