Establishes the California State Park Stewardship Act of 2026, requiring the Department of Parks and Recreation to integrate climate considerations into all aspects of park planning, development, and operations

Creates the Wildfire Safety and Climate Stewardship Fund to support projects minimizing fire risk, improving carbon uptake and storage, and reducing greenhouse gas emissions across the state park system's 280 units covering over 1.6 million acres

Authorizes grants for climate stewardship activities including prescribed burns, fuel reduction, reforestation, road decommissioning, and restoration of riparian zones, grasslands, rangelands, forests, and wetlands

Permits the department to accept funding from local, state, federal governments, tribal governments, private entities, educational institutions, and corporations to implement climate resilience projects

Prioritizes projects with multiple co-benefits and requires the department to develop guidelines for fund expenditures that enhance carbon sequestration while supporting durable programming
