Makes technical, nonsubstantive changes to existing air ambulance consumer protection laws by removing cross-reference language ("Notwithstanding Section 1367.11" and "Notwithstanding Section 10352")

Maintains existing requirement that patients using out-of-network air ambulance services pay only the same cost-sharing amount they would pay for in-network providers

Preserves protections preventing noncontracting air ambulance providers from billing patients beyond the in-network cost-sharing amount or sending more than that amount to collections

Applies to health care service plan contracts under the Knox-Keene Act and health insurance policies issued, amended, or renewed on or after January 1, 2020
