Extends the legislative review period for tribal-state gaming compacts from 15 days to 20 days following reconvening when the original 30-day rejection window ends during a joint recess of the Legislature.

Amends Government Code Section 12012.25, which governs the ratification process for gaming compacts between California and federally recognized Indian tribes under the federal Indian Gaming Regulatory Act of 1988.

Maintains the existing automatic ratification process where compacts materially identical to those executed on September 10, 1999, are ratified unless rejected by two-thirds of both legislative houses within 30 days.

Requires no appropriation, has no fiscal committee implications, and passes with a majority vote.
