Allows community care facility licensees to provisionally approve individuals to care for children before completing out-of-state child abuse and neglect registry checks, provided all other background checks (Department of Justice, FBI, Child Abuse Central Index) are cleared

Requires that provisionally approved applicants have no unsupervised contact with residents or clients and may only work under supervision until the out-of-state registry check is complete

Mandates immediate removal of any applicant from the facility if the out-of-state registry check reveals disqualifying information, with notification to the department within 3 business days

Applies to facilities eligible to accept placement of dependent children where licensees or associated individuals have lived in another state within the preceding 5 years
